I’ve been proudly assisting our community as a State Farm agent since 2021! With a team that has over 75 years of combined experience helping customers and families just like you, our agency is equipped to help ensure you are properly protected. I grew up in Little Falls, where my parents were heavily involved in the community. My dad owned and operated the local Dairy Queen, while my mom worked as a real estate agent. I spent countless hours learning from both of them and gaining an appreciation for small business ownership. After high school, I attended Minnesota State University Moorhead, where I earned my dual major in English and Mass Communications, along with a minor in economics.

Now, I live right here in Park Rapids. My husband, Nick, and I were excited to return to Minnesota in 2021 after spending seven years in the Fargo/Moorhead area. Our German Shepherd/Husky mix, Booker, is our adventure companion—he goes everywhere with us! Last fall we expanded our family with the arrival of our daughter, Ruth. Living on the Fishhook River, we spend many evenings out on the boat or relaxing on our back deck, taking in the beautiful view.

When I’m not in the office, you can usually find me reading a book, watching baseball or hockey, and spending time outdoors. In the summer, Nick and I compete in the Rotary Dragon Boat racing and were proud to be part of the team that won gold at the Lake Superior meet. We also love to travel and always have our next trip planned!

Our agency takes pride in our focus on educating our customers. We take the time to explain everything - from the basics of liability coverage on autos, all the way to the finer details of a homeowners policy. It certainly takes more time, but we want our customers to feel confident and informed about their coverage when they leave our office. With my small business background, we also specialize in helping business owners find the right coverage for their unique operations. No two businesses are alike, and we enjoy the challenge of creating customized policies that address their biggest concerns.

Building long-term relationships with our customers is one of our top priorities! Regular check-ins are a key part of our process to ensure our customers’ coverage still makes sense for their lives. New customers also go through a structured process to get to know our team and feel comfortable with us. Our conversations are deeper than transactional, and we truly care about the people we serve.

I’m proud to be active in my community as a chamber member and regularly volunteer with the Armory Arts and Events Center. I am also a Rotary member – I love giving back to the Park Rapids area!
